DeliverCart is an on-demand delivery service where you can order your groceries & household items, from multiple stores and get them delivered to your door in as little as 60 minutes. What's interesting about this is how we actually make this happen. DeliverCart is entirely a software company, which means that we don't actually have any warehouses, trucks and we don’t hold any inventory. When you place an order with us, we have a team of personal shoppers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxl stores and bring them to your door in as little as 60 minutes.
We set up DeliverCart in 2020 because we recognized there is a big gap in the market.... consumers couldn't buy grocery & household items directly from a wholesaler. One of the many difficulties wholesalers faces when directly offering products to the end consumer online is digitizing and maintaining their extensive product range, which is in the tens of thousands. The process of creating a user-friendly online platform is very expensive, takes thousands of man hours and getting it right isn't easy. After lots of brainstorming and caffeine consumption! We solved the problem by working with a national wholesaler, making their entire product range available directly to the consumer on our bespoke cutting-edge platform. For the first time ever, consumers could browse and bulk buy thousands of products, from a wholesaler at amazingly low prices on an easy-to-use online platform. That was half the job done.
The last part of the puzzle was, how do we ensure customers receive delivery of their items, in perfect condition every time and don't feel let down when the items they ordered aren't available in the store? This inspired us to recruit & train a team of personal shoppers that will handpick customers' items and deliver them to their door. Our personal shoppers are carefully selected based on their belief in valuing people and providing outstanding customer service. Their absolute priority is to maintain a personal touch with customers and keep them informed all the way. This includes the personal shopper sending a text message to customers when they receive the order and begin shopping. If an item isn't available, they will contact the customer to recommend alternative items and amend the order, giving the customer control of the shopping process and complete piece of mind.
